Progreso: Playa
En Progreso fui por segunda vez a la playa disfrute un poco más antes de regresarme al centro de Mérida. Para llegar hasta Progreso tome un autobús que se llama AutoProgreso que se va toda la carretera hasta llegar al malecón el recorrido en el autobús dura como 40 minutos. Pero antes de eso busque un hotel para quedarme unas cuantas noches ahí en Progreso y poder disfrutar de la playa del malecón en la noche, fueron dos noches nada más antes de regresarme al centro de Mérida.
In Progreso I went to the beach for the second time and enjoyed a little more before returning to downtown Merida. To get to Progreso I took a bus called AutoProgreso that goes all the way to the malecon and the bus ride takes about 40 minutes. But before that I looked for a hotel to stay a few nights there in Progreso and enjoy the Malecon beach at night, it was only two nights before returning to downtown Merida.
Ese día me puse mucho bloqueador solar porque ya andaba un poco quemado de la piel, un día anterior había ido a la playa de Chuburná, disfruté la playa de Progreso como no tienen una idea, porque no es muy hondo y el movimiento de las olas es magnífico te relaja el cuerpo.
That day I put on a lot of sunscreen because my skin was already a little burned, the day before I had gone to the beach of Chuburna, I enjoyed the beach of Progreso like you have no idea, because it is not very deep and the movement of the waves is magnificent, it relaxes your body.
Cómo es muy turístico la playa de Progreso hay palapas y camastros que te cobran un buen dinero por usarlos, yo la verdad no los use, deje mi mochila en la orilla del mar. Ese día había mucho más sargazo en la playa, pero yo me metí al agua con todo y el sargazo y todo bien.
As the beach of Progreso is very touristic there are palapas and lounge chairs that charge good money to use them, I didn't really use them, I left my backpack on the seashore. That day there was a lot more sargassum on the beach, but I went into the water with all the sargassum and everything was fine.
En la noche recorrí el malecón, fui a cenar, volví a ir a la playa ahi salte, cante, baile, el viento estaba muy fuerte y habían unos faros que su iluminación se veía a lo lejos, todo fue muy interesante. También había un pequeño parque de diversiones, me subí a la montaña rusa, compré un postre típico de Yucatán que se llama Marquesitas. Compré un vaso de frutas con hielo el mío eran fresas con leche que le llaman Machacado en Yucatán, estuvo delicioso (en Monterrey les llamamos Yukis).
At night I walked along the boardwalk, went to dinner, went to the beach again, jumped, sang, danced, the wind was very strong and there were some lighthouses that illuminated in the distance, everything was very interesting. There was also a small amusement park, I went on the roller coaster, I bought a typical Yucatan dessert called Marquesitas. I bought a glass of fruit with ice, mine was strawberries with milk which they call Machacado in Yucatan, it was delicious (in Monterrey we call them Yukis).
