Edible-Snails are little, hard-shelled being all-that are roaming this globe. In their biological-classification, they're falling under the Animal-group, as they're creatures. Then for the category, snail belongs to its own category, known as "Gastropods".
Naturally, a snail is, in an inaccurate-terms, a shelled-gastropod. Marine-Gastropods that obviously need a carapace, or posses just an internal-wrapping, are chiefly known as "slug", and land-snails that posses just a tiny-shell (which they can never pull back ) have been known as semislugs or land gastropods.
The Category Gastropods (in Phylum-Mollusca) comprises the family be related to snail-species and slug-species. The larger part of gastropod has a sole, generally spiral, curved-shell into which the physique could be introverted.
Slug and / or snail hasn't been an insect. IFactually, they are a dissimilar kind of creature completely. Bugs are belonging to the "phylum-Arthropoda", whilst slug and snail are discovered in the "phylum-Mollusca", meaning they are more or less similar to cephalopod than nearly all other bugs being noticed on landscape.
