My photography nowadays is regarding the Garden vervain. It is trailing to upright plants and ar mature as annuals in most areas. they need moderate drought tolerance and showy flowers with an extended bloom season. Trailing varieties had best in containers or hanging baskets. Upright varieties look nice during a border. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage a lot of flowers. V. tenuifolia is distinguished by compound leaves, deeply lobate with skinny segments. V. canadensis is distinguished by ovate leaves that ar unsubdivided or wedge-shaped basally and coil lobes that ar rough with a shallow notch.
