Cassava; Manihot esculentus

Hello pals and my fellow photo lovers.
Am new here and decided to make this post inspired by the posts of @udibekwe, @besticofinder and @churchangel. Took most of these pictures in the farm today.

Cassava, also known by the botanical name as Manihot esculentus is a very good source of carbohydrates in addition to minor nutritional contents it gives.

It is a biennial crop that grows well in the African regions and some parts southern America.

Cassava grows tall with with star shaped leaves. It is propagated through its stem. Cassava can be processed into some finished products like flour, tapioca, Fifi/Eba(mostly in africa), cassava cake, mashed cassava, french fries etc.
