During the Medieval period, castle were basically used as centre for local government, administration and justice and also by powerful lords to display their power and wealth through lavish architectural styles and decorations, which were build with thick walls, fortified against attacked but in this age and time, maybe I say am surprise why people still build castle, now in the heart of cities.
