The tea plant has another name camellia sinensis which is usually used as a traditional drink. The tea plant is cultivated commercially. In general, tea (Camelia Sinensis) grows in tropical areas with an altitude between 200-2000 meters above sea level. The tea plant is mainly cultivated in tropical and subtropical climates like mine. Tea plants will become trees if allowed to grow, while cultivated tea plants are pruned for easy picking.
