The Wasatch Mountain Range runs north to south from Idaho to Utah. Utah is home to some of the most iconic ski areas in the United States, such as Alta, Snowbird, and ParkCity. This picture was taken in the Catherine's Backcountry Area accessed from the Alta ski area. The photo was taken at a rough elevation of 10,500 feet facing northward toward the Wolverine Cirque.
