Asparagus asparagoides is commonly known as bridal creeper, gnarboola, bridal-veil creeper, smilax or smilax asparagus which is an herbaceous, scrambling or climbing, also much-branched perennial with twisting, wiry, spineless stems that can grow average of 3m in length. The roots are rhizomatous & form numerous root tubers.
Basically it has decorative shiny or glossy green leaves that are not the true leaves but usually phylloclades or leaf-like branches.
