It’s a species of conifer belong to the genus Pinus in the family Pinaceae, but instead is a member of the genus Araucaria, in the family of Araucariaceae. The tree is endemic to Norfolk Island, an external territory of Australia located in the Pacific Ocean between New Zealand & New Caledonia. Some species produce edible seeds, which are similar to pine nuts. Other species within the genus are important producers of timber for general construction purposes. It’s free to use stock photo at will. Thank you’ll & Steem On.
