Kalanchoe daigremontiana formerly known as Bryophyllum daigremontianum & commonly called mother of thousands, most kalanchoes are short with long stems that are topped by rounded clumps of tiny cool flowers. The leaves are broad & wide, color range from a light to deep green. One variety called Tom Thumb, features reddish-green leaves.
It’s considered a medicinal plant against premature labor in pregnant women & is also used in cases of infertility, reduce fevers & provides anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving & muscle relaxant effects. Also anti-inflammatory effects that have been partially attributed to the immunomodulatory & immune suppressant effect. Please this is not a medical advice, kindly consult your physician before use.
