It’s also known as Celosia which is pretty useful. Although celosia is primarily grown as an ornamental plant in the United States while it’s commonly grown as vegetable throughout Africa. Usually the leaves, tender stems & even young flowers are combined with other vegetables in soups & stews. Therefore Celosia leaves can be boiled or steamed & eaten as a side delicious dish as well.
