The Melampodium leucanthum is a known herbaceous perennial plant in the sunflower family found on limestone-containing rocky slopes in the Sonoran Desert.
It’s a very attractive ornamental with showy flowers & long bloom period, from the month of March to November.
It’s free to use stock photo at will.

I live in the Sonoran desert, and I have never seen this. I am going to keep an eye out for it on hikes. Maybe they have it at my local museum.
