Cuban Oregano ‘plectranthus amboinicus’ Also known by so many other names ranging from Spanish thyme, Indian borage, Five-in One-Herb & Mother of Herbs.
It’s a sprawling, aromatic perennial herb that grows to 35inch tall with thick, hairy, ovate leaves that are serrated or scalloped at the plant edges.
Spikes of 2-lipped mauve, pink flowers.
Its taste is similar to that of oregano.
Usually does well in a variety of conditions like full sun or shade, but water sparingly & it does not tolerate frost.
It’s free to use stock photo at will.
