My town, an enchanted corner between mountains.

This magical place is named Zea, in honor of the hero and vice president of La Gran Colombia Francisco Antonio Zea. We find it located southwest of the state of Mérida, in the country of Venezuela, it is made up of two differentiable areas, in the north and center of the territory we can find ourselves surrounded by a mountainous relief between 300 meters of altitude with tropical humid forest vegetation and in In the southern area, the elevations range from 600 masl to 1800 masl, precisely in the Mariño moor.

This small town originates in the year 1811, since then there have been several changes and it has belonged to several jurisdictions, such as Bailadores, the Murmuquena parish and the town of Tovar, it was not until 1992 that it became an autonomous municipality.

The climate is normally pleasant and its people are very friendly and warm, the people who know this place reaffirm the idea that it is an enchanted corner, since you enter there and when you leave you take a little piece of its streets, its mountains and its people in the soul.

I lived a large part of my life there with my beloved grandparents, until exactly 21 years old, 3 years ago I left in search of new horizons and new goals, but I always carry in my heart all the beautiful memories that I have of a childhood and a adolescence between laughter with my friends and the green-blue of the mountains and a beautiful and resplendent sky.

Someday when I return, I still hope to find my old woman waiting for me with her coffee and her hug that heals everything and my daddy with his patience and love that characterize him, I hope the sun still shines as beautiful as I remember it and I hope to be again happy among such beautiful people.
