What is a Blockchain?
A Blockchain in simple terms is a ledger of transactions which can be decentralized, distributed and recorded across many devices so that it's not altered by hackers.
It is also a system of recorded transactions especially those made in crypto currency which is maintained and distributed across various devices linked in a network and it's not easily altered or changed.
What do you know about Centralized Blockchains?
There are 2 types of Blockchains, a decentralized and a centralized. A decentralized Blockchain runs normally and is distributed across as many devices as it can be distributed such as Bitcoin and STEEM and others.
Meanwhile a centralized Blockchain is not opened to all devices and users, it functions as a system where the power and decisions belong to a couple of persons in the Blockchain examples like ripple (xrp), Ethereum and others.
Share your thoughts about the Decentralized Blockchains.
My personal thoughts without stating facts about centralized Blockchains is that power is put in the hands of the few and this makes a certain imbalance in the system but the distribution and this can't be fair though it's not the case for more.
Having decisions about a coin being made by a group of persons doesn't really give that Blockchain vibe that crypto enthusiasts want in Blockchain.
