Meet my elders

INTRODUCTION

Hello my fellow steemian friends, how are your doing? Hope you're all doing great.
I'm happy to participate in this interesting contest in @hive-109435 Community which was organized by our hardworking friend in person of @malikusman1, and the theme of the contest is Meet my Elders.
And in today's post i will be writing on the theme by following the contest hint.

DO ANY OF YOUR ELDERS LIVE WITH YOU? WHAT IS HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU?

Actually all my grandparents are late, so currently in my home is only i, my siblings and my father that are there, which is a normal nuclear family and the only one that is missing is my late mother.

Though sometimes my uncles and aunties normally visit us, and i always pay them a visit also, sometimes i do go to their house to spend my weekend especially my aunty's house.
But non of my uncles or aunties do stay with us in our home, they normally visit and go, the only elderly person that is living with me is my Father.

-HOW OLD IS HE?AND WHAT ARE HIS HOBBIES?

My father is 61 years old, and he is still very strong and agile. He likes doing so many things himself and if you want to help him, he won't allow, though am always happy to see him exercise himself.

My father was a fine art teacher, and he loves drawing and doing some craft work on his free time, and also cooking is also one of his hobbies, to be honest some of the food i know how to cook my father taught me.

TELL US ABOUT HIS BEHAVIOR WITH YOU AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY?

My father is a very good man, and one thing i really love wbout him is that i cares so much about us, and he doesn't beat us, but if you do something wrong what he will say to you ehh will be worse than beating.

He is a very funny man, every evening when all of us are around he normally tell us about his childhood memories and stories/history about Nigeria.
My father behaves very well with me and all the members of my family, and we love him so much.

WILL ITE A MESSAGE TO HIM TO SHOW YOUR REGARDS AND LOVE FOR HIM

Dear Dad.
I sincerely appreciate everything you hav done for me and for my siblings.
Ever since mummy died, you became both my father and my mother, you suffered for us, but still you didn't give up, i really appreciate everything you have done for us in this world, thank you so much.
I pray may God grant you many more years on earth, so that you will reap and enjoy the fruit of your labour.
