Hello Steem4Bloggers a warm welcome to you all here. |

This is me @kathy-cute from Philippines and you are here Reading my Blog. I hope you all are enjoying the current season here. It's an honor for me to participate in this beautiful contest. This is my participation in a contest Ramadan Reflections: Sharing Our Spiritual Journey.
What does Ramadan mean to you personally? |
---|
I belong to Christan religion, but I know about this term Ramadan. This is the holly month of Muslims, they keep fasting this month. Here in Philippines we have too many Muslim people and I have bundles of Muslim friends. They help me a lot in answering this contest, and many things I knew before too.
I think Ramadan is the month of Good deeds and spirituality for Muslims. This month they have specific time in which they don't eat and drink anything. Same they try to avoid any sin, if small or big. Muslims have a very high respect and status of this month.
To be honest this month is respectful for me too, because it's Holly for our Muslim brothers and sisters. In Philippines all my Muslim friends and neighbors completely respect the religious matters if our Christan. This is the reason I can say Ramadan mean a respectful month for me.
How do you prepare yourself spiritually and mentally for Ramadan? |
---|
This is something not related to my personality in person, because as a Christian I can't fast in this month, or do other practices as Muslims do, but I would say I am happy for my Muslim friends they are having a precious month. Yeah I believe on intermittent fasting because I really want my body to look smart and slim. I fast, but it's not in Ramadan only, or the same like Muslim people.
I think we can learn from Ramadan that we should be good and kind to other throughout the year, not only just one month. According to my understanding, Ramadan is the month of kindness. Here Muslim give too much to other in this month.
What are your goals or aspirations for self-improvement during Ramadan, and how do you plan to achieve them? |

I have a plan to go to my friends house in the most celebrated festival after Ramadan, I think they call it EID. Every Eid my friend invite me to their house, they cook too many delicious things. Some invite me for lunch and some for dinner.
So I can say I am very excited for the Rid, will have too many invitation for me haha. My Muslim friends here have Eid celebration I think one week. We also join them, wearing good outfits and putting make up. They are so rich so they give us expensive gifts too. On Christmas and new year they celebrate it with us. We buy them gifts too.
My deep heart invitation to my dear friends :@cive40, @jasa107, @nathalidelgado, @emsonic, @elrazi, @safridafatih, |
