Eid means joy, Eid means happiness. Two religious festivals of Muslims are Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. The name of the biggest religious festival of Muslims is Eid-ul-Azha. Eidul-Azha is an Arabic phrase that means self-sacrifice. On the day of Eid-ul-Azha, after praying at the Eidgah, animals are sacrificed in the name of Allah according to their ability, cows, goats, sheep, buffaloes, camels. The human race sacrifices to gain the pleasure of Allah. There is a description in the Holy Qur'an,Sacrifice is obligatory on the human race by taking the test of Prophet Ibrahim's love for Allah. Allah Ta'ala said to Ibrahim in a dream - Sacrifice to Me what is dearest to you. Poet Karim (as) had this dream for three consecutive nights. And he sacrificed cows, camels, sheep, lambs in the name of Allah, but nothing worked. Finally, Hazrat Ibrahim (A) sacrificed his only son Ismail to please AllahAfter offering the sacrifice, Prophet Ibrahim opened his eyes and saw his son Ismail standing in front of him. And in Ismail's place a dumba is slaughtered. Since then, the entire Muslim nation followed Ibrahim (a) and sacrificed animals in the name of Allah.

In the morning of Eid, I wake up fresh, then I don't make my bed, then I will cook sweets and eat with the whole family. I take a bath after 11 am on the day of Eid, then wear a new dress and greet the elders. After the cow sacrifice is done I will cook the gosto and I will prepare the masala for cooking in advance so that it does not take much time to cook. And I will help to preserve the Qurbani gosto, help the gosto reach the homes of the poor people at home. I will help to send gosto home to our poor and helpless relatives. When all the jamelas of the house are over, uncle's house is nearby, me and my family members with them

🐄 Are you sacrificing animals this Eid? What amount is being spent or will be?

I don't sacrifice with my own money, but my family does. Every year two people sacrifice a cow. This time and so it will be. A cow is bought for one lakh rupees, this time it will be the same. Approximately 50-55 thousand rupees will be sacrificed. However, the price may be lower or higher depending on the local market and cow health. But the purpose of offering is to sacrifice in the name of Allah.

🗣️ Share your advice on how to find out about your poor relatives this Eid.

It is not the case that I keep the news of relatives on Eid. I always try to keep in touch with everyone. All my relatives also love me a lot. During summer or winter holidays, I visit my close relatives, they come to visit us. Eid or any occasion our relatives are together. I have many relatives who are financially weak and I send Eid greetings to their children. And EidI buy them clothes for the occasion. If someone in their family is sick, I send medical money according to my ability. I invite you to come home on Eid and other times. On Eid-ul-Adha, we send gosto to a poor relative's house, and when we come home, we propose that we all celebrate Eid together. The fun of sharing the joy of the festival together is different.
