Hi everyone,
It's another day of the week and I'm delighted to participate in this contest today organized by @hive-109435 which talks about Ramadan Reflections: Sharing Our Spiritual Journey. I will be making my entry below so read through it and drop your valuable comment as it will be appreciated.

What does Ramadan mean to you personally?

To me, Ramadan is a period of fasting, prayer and armsgiving. This is a period of the year set aside for all believers to reflect on their lives and then turn away from their sins and become better people.

Ramadan is a period where we come closer to God by praying, fasting and arms giving. This also help us to have a sober reflection and then check properly what we are supposed to do that we are not doing and what we are doing that we are not suppose to do.

In summary, Ramadan has to do with showing love and care and also working hard to becoming a better person by avoiding sin and also putting a smile on the faces of others by the good work you do. So that is my understanding of the term Ramadan.

How do you prepare yourself spiritually and mentally for Ramadan?

Everyone must get himself prepare both physically, spiritually and mentally for the journey of Ramadan. Recall that I have said earlier that Ramadan is a period where you need to come closer to God and also avoid sin.

So if that is true, you need to prepare spiritually and mentally and how to do that is by praying and fasting. When you prayer and fast, you will notice that you are closer to God and when you also assist the poor because you saw God in them then you will also attract more favour.

So all you need is the three key things I have listed above i.e prayer, fasting and arms giving. Everyone needs to do that at this period of Ramadan so that he or she can see the face of God.

What are your goals or aspirations for self-improvement during Ramadan, and how do you plan to achieve them?

My goal and aspirations for the Ramadan season is to become a better person i.e improve on the good things I have been doing and also avoid all the evil things that I have been doing as well.

I want God to help me through this period of Ramadan to become a better person, to always pray, fast and also do some arms giving so that everyone beside me me be happy as well.

I plan to achieve this goal by putting effort to live a better life and also stay focus on the said goal. I will ensure I try as much as I can to meet up with the goal and the target.

I want to invite @josepha, @bonaventure24, and @vickyson, to join the contest in this community and share their entry participation.

Yes my brother you have said it all Ramadan is a time of prayers, fasting, and arm giving, and it is a time that we are supposed to be close to God. I pray that God will help us to come close to him in this period of Ramadan. I wish you happy Ramadan and good luck in your entry.
