What is a cryptocurrency whitepaper?

A cryptocurrency white paper is a document that gives investors and traders a guide and complete information about a given cryptocurrency project. This means that if you want to know more about any crypto asset, you have to read through the white paper.

It is ideally supposed to carry the road map, the team, and every other detail information that anyone who intends to invest in the coin is to know because reading through the white paper should tell you about the origin and purpose of the project.

So White paper as you all know is a very important document that stands as a guide about a project of cryptocurrency. Without a white paper, the project is not defined. So this is the main reason why it is important to have a white paper.

How long should an ideal cryptocurrency whitepaper be?

Cryptocurrency white paper should stay as long as the project exists. Before the launching of a cryptocurrency, the white paper must be in place to help investors who wish to invest before launching through ICO and others.

Also, after the launching of the project, the white paper must still be available as it will help those who wish to invest much later to read about the project and know the future and the plans of the project.

In all, white paper should be available as long as the crypto asset is available because it will always be in use at all times. So it is necessary to keep it and also go through it as a new investor in the asset.

Should a whitepaper include information about the team behind the project?

I strongly believe that if a project carries the information of those behind it, it has proven to be a very good and transparent project because before people will go ahead to invest and participate in any project.

So the essence of their details on the white paper can never be overemphasized as it is a means to attract more investors and traders of the said asset owing to the reputation that the team members may have built over the past periods.

Also if the reputation of these people is questionable it's a sign that people need to take into account before investing in the project. In both ways, their details must be added.
