YouTube is an application that is designed for the sole purpose of uploading, downloading, commenting, and liking videos and also making money from your channel based on the content and the subscription you have.
It is one of the earliest platforms that is well-known for uploading and downloading movies. Here on Steemit before we can upload a video we must first upload it on YouTube then copy the link and share it here on Twitter.
So YouTube just like other social media platforms is meant for video commenting and liking and also advertising to earn cash.

The criteria that must be put in place before you can earn money on YouTube are the few steps I have listed below. There are more but these are the major steps that you must follow as they all fall within them.
- Have at least 1000 subscribers
- Have at least 4,000 views on your channel in the last 12 months.
- Enable monetization on your channel
- Apply for the YouTube partner program
- Follow all guidelines by YouTube
- Add payment method
| What is your favorite content creator on YouTube and why? |

My favorite content creator is Brain Jotter. He is a Nigerian comedian and a content creator who always makes me smile at all times because of the comedy he makes. At the moment, he is one of the best comedians in Nigeria as he has one of the highest numbers of followers on YouTube.
Aside from that, he is also a giver as he is spotted many times when he gives out money to people within and outside his cycle especially those who are always helpless. He is a good man and has made it easy for people to live life without stress.
