Contest|| 3 Days Without Electricity

Every day in our life, we make use of the electric power supply to do many things. Imagine staying for three days without electricity totally, the experience will not be good at all. I will share my participation in line with the contest guidelines, it is a wonderful topic by @steemdoctor1 to share the thought "3 Days Without Electricity".

In my country Nigeria, we face the issue of Electricity power shutdown almost every day in many parts of the country. The Power Holding company of Nigeria has no guarantee to depend on for enjoying steady electricity.

In my area specifically in Kwara State Nigeria, we see the electric power when it comes, sometimes, it may go off for some time and then comes back again. We are used to power instability so we have an alternative power supply to do something when there is no light so we don't depend on the general power supply by the government.

If there is a Power failure in my country for 3 days, I will engage myself in other relevant activities that require no use of light or electricity.

I will engage myself in maintaining my garden and giving more time to the plantation therein. I grow more plants and even introduce livestock on the farm, at least that will keep me busy to forget the frustration of lack of electricity.

I will also re-commit myself to my football and soccer activities and visit friends and family. I know it will not be easy but I will make sure I keep myself busy at all times.

My blogging in steemit will be affected seriously, I use a Samsung device and my battery doesn't last much, so I always charge my phone to stay online, though I have a lot of power banks without electricity, I won't be able to charge them aswell.

Heat will also affect me seriously, in my environment, the weather is very harsh when it comes to the afternoon, so I use electricity to power my fan to get a good atmosphere to sleep, when there is no electricity, the heat will ne much and I will not have a comfortable environment to sleep.

My resources and money will also be affected, I will be forced to buy fuel to use a generator, and the price of fuel now is costly. 1 liter was NGN 230 but now, 1 liter is NGN 500 because of the subsidy issue so spending money to buy fuel for the generator will also affect my other budget. Not having light for 3days will affect me in a lot of ways.

Electricity is very important in our day-to-day activities, we use it in different ways, and without it, some activities will be stopped or affected. I wish to invite @yakspeace @akareen @memamun to join the contest.
