At that time it was still raining. Walking in dirty water on the road exposes feet to germs and increases the risk of infection. Wet shoes and constant moisture can cause bacteria and smelly feet. Because moist conditions breed bacteria that can cause painful infections and stubborn fungal growth around the nail. Constantly damp skin can lose its protective layer, leading to allergic infections. Know what to do in rainy day foot care.

Choosing the right footwear.
Choosing the right footwear is very important in monsoon foot care. Closed shoes can increase the risk of fungal infections. Because trapped moisture can cause fungus. Choose open sandals if possible. It will dry wet feet quickly. Take extra precautions if closed shoes are required. Use antifungal powder on shoes. Carry an extra pair of socks to change into if your feet get damp. Waterproof shoes can be helpful at this time. Rubber sandals or flip-flops can be good options. Such sandals dry quickly. Avoid leather shoes during rain.

Use a foot mask.
Use a foot mask for hydration, exfoliation and tan removal. Charcoal mask cleanses and detoxifies the skin. Coffee mask exfoliates the skin. They remove dead skin cells and rejuvenate tired feet. Jasmine mask offers skin care as well as aromatherapy benefits. Soak your feet in warm water for 15 minutes before using the foot mask. It softens the skin. Gently exfoliate with a foot scrubber if needed.

Some tips on foot care.
To keep your feet healthy during monsoons, trim your toenails regularly and keep them clean and dry. Change socks daily. Use an antifungal spray or powder on the shoe if symptoms of a fungal infection such as itching and redness occur. Moisturize feet, but do not apply lotion between toes. If feet sweat a lot, try using an antiperspirant foot spray to keep them dry throughout the day.

Maintaining cleanliness is important.
Wash your feet thoroughly with antibacterial soap after returning home on a rainy day. Pay special attention to the middle of the toes. Fungi grow rapidly in these places. Add a few drops of tea tree oil or lavender oil to hot water. You can also add pink salt. Soak your feet in this water for 15-20 minutes. Scrub the feet gently with a soft brush. It will help remove dirt and dead skin. Drying is just as important as washing. Use a clean, soft towel to dry the feet completely. Apply talcum powder to sweaty feet and then wear socks. Moisturize your feet at night. The skin of the feet will be good.
