Contest : Rainy Weather and Me

Good evening steemians

How was your weekend? Though the weekend will be ending in the next two hours but I hope you all had a wonderful time this weekend. I was very busy this weekend and I can't wait for the next weekend to come. I have always enjoyed and spend my weekends very well. I want to participate in this contest and this is my fourth post for this weekend. Special thanks to @steemdoctor1 for organizing this contest.

Do you like the rainy weather or not? Justify your answer.

I will say is 50:50. I love the raining weather and I also dislike it sometimes. Although for my entry to count I need to justify my answer based on either m like or dislike. Ok, I will say that I dislike the rainy weather alot because it makes me inactive and angry sometimes. They way it makes me inactive is when i have no option but to stay indoors putting on sweaters and sleeping all day.

The rainy weather makes me angry in the aspect of ruining my plans for a particular day. Let me say I have a very important party or meeting or also lecture to attend somewhere and as am about to leave the house, the rain began to fall heavily non-stop, most times it falls in a way people can't be able to go out with umbrellas. I dislike such experience because most times I end up not attending these different occasions.

What is the best way to enjoy the rainy weather?

The best way to enjoy the rainy weather is to stay indoors drinking hot tea/coffee and also watching a movie at home as well as chatting with your friends on different social media platforms. I enjoy drinking hot tea when is rainy because it helps to keep my body very warm and calm. Sleeping is another way to enjoy the weather. People enjoy their sleep more whenever is rainy and I must confess that am one of these kind of people. Whenever is rainy I will just lie on my bed and began to think of the beautiful things of life until I doze off slowly.

Tell me about some dishes which are prepared most commonly in rainy seasons.

Here in Nigeria there are so many dishes that are prepared daily in rainy seasons but I will talk about two, we do eat Porridge alot during rainy seasons because porridges are always very hot and the beans makes it more enjoyable and hot, these dishes are eaten mainly for keeping the body warm because they are always prepared very hot and they can burn our tongue of we are not careful.

Pepper Soup is another dish that we mostly prepare during rainy season because of it's excess hotness and how peppery it is. I enjoy eating yam with this pepper soup during rainy seasons. Thanks alot for reading friends. Have a nice night rest.
