Meet my elders

Hello everyone, this is my entry for the Steem4Bloggers contest. Thank you for holding such a lovely contest, @malikusman1, as it is our elders who teach us the right and wrong ways to behave in this society.

It is our duty to care for our elders if they are still living. Our children will learn a good lesson if we follow through. Elders play a critical part in guiding us toward a clear path. We are here because of their investment. Therefore, in my opinion, we need to give them a lot of attention. Let's get to the point now.

Do any of your elders live with you? What is his or her relationship with you?

Only my aunt, the 79-year-old wife of my mother's brother, and my mother-in-law were left as elders. My father, my mother, and my husband's father had passed away. We just kept my mother-in-law, who is my husband's mother, alive.

Today, in this contest I am going to talk about her. She does not reside with us; rather, she is at her home. However, my husband and I each pay a monthly visit to her.

How old is he/she? And what are his or her hobbies?

She is 89 years old right now, yet she is still in excellent health. She is currently too elderly to do anything besides remove weeds in the garden. conversing with others that come to see her. She had been reading books and newspapers and visiting temples before that.

Tell us about his behaviours with you and other members of the family.

She is a lovely woman who is also highly intelligent. As we were employed while living there, she was the one who took care of my children. The foundation of my children's lives was therefore quite solid. Still, when I visit her, her love and gratitude are always delivered to us. Like her, I am the same. My mother-in-law has my sincere thanks. She is always delighted when I arrive, and she looks forward to my visits each month. I always remember to bring my kids to see her if they are free. Since it is our responsibility to take care of our grandmother, I constantly educate my children to respect her.

Write a message to him/her to show your regards and love for him/her.

Actually, I don't have any wards to commend her. She is a lovely, intelligent, kind mother who takes care of my children and provides them with sound guidance during a difficult period for me. I would like to use this chance to wish her a good, healthy life in this wonderful world.
