From this, it can be understood that Bengalis are food lovers. There are various kinds of spiced food prepared and we are not afraid to eat that food with relatives and guests. Today through this context. I will discuss some of the relations between Bengali traditional food and let’s get familiar with our traditional dishes.

The list of traditional dishes of our country is very long like: - Polau, Biryani, Kachchi, Bhuna Khichuri, Kala bhuna etc.
Guest entertainment, weddings, birthdays, and small and big seminars are everywhere, the menu of an event cannot be imagined without Polau, Biryani, Kacchi, or Bhuna Khichuri as the main dish. These foods are delicious and fun. Few people have the strength to ignore the taste of these foods.
These are our ancient traditional foods. Probably from the Mughal emperor or even earlier, such delicious food has gained popularity in this country. Even after so many years, the popularity of this food has not decreased a bit. Rather, its demand is increasing day by day.

I love this traditional food of my country very much. Today I am sharing one of my stories.
It was 18 years ago from today. I had just finished my married. I was visited my father-in-law’s house Whichever house I was going to visit. A large fish dish was being served to me with pollau. I humbly pleaded that it was not possible for me to eat it, but They did not agree. They said I have to it must. I wanted to know the reason for this, they said it is our very old way of honoring new guests. I also came to know that Hogge fish is a part of our heritage.
