I would like to thanks community steem4bloggers for conducting such informative contest. I am ready to take part in this competition with great excitement. Contest theme is "Eid al-Adha 2023"
First of all we will talk about Eid.

Eid:

Eid means feast (happiness), a festival or celebration. Muslims celebrate three Eids in a year. Eid ul Fitre, Eid ul Adha and Eid Melad un Nabi (S.A.W).
In this contest we will talk about Eid ul Adha.

Eid ul Adha is celebrated in the rememberance of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S).
Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) saw in a dream that he was ordered by Allah to sacrifice his son Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) in the way of Allah. Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) said this to his son Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him). Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) immediately replied that it is a matter of happiness for me to sacrifice myself in the way of Allah. Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) took his son Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) to the altar to be slaughtered. When Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) used the knife, the knife could not work. At that time, Hazrat Jibraeel (A.S.) appeared with a sheep and said to slaughter to this instead of Ismail (A.S.) Allah had tested him and he was successful in his test. And then three parts of the meat were divided, one for the relatives, the second for the poor and the third for themselves. Every year, Muslims perform sacrifice in memory of this sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).

Eid UL Adha is the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). This is true. You have given a very brief and complete details about EID UL Adha. I am sure those who are non Muslim will get about this festival now.

You have celebrated it with full zeal and spirit. Best wishes to you and your family. May you see many many Eids with your family.
