My Favorite Crypto Coin by @simonnwigwe

Scrolling through the list of contests available as updated by @disconnect, I came in contact with this very interesting contest which according to the update will be ending today.

The question I asked myself is that where has this contest been? I surf through the list of contest day in and day out but my eyes never came across this very one until today.

Well, I'm delighted that I saw it and I will be presenting my entry in this blog. Firstly, I want to acknowledge the presence of the admins and MODs of this noble community most especially @chiabertrand for working so hard to take this community to its current level. I will be attempting the questions below as a means of my participation in this contest.

My favourite coin is steem. I'm not saying this because I'm a steemian but I'm saying it because of the potential that the token has. I started trading cryptocurrency in the year 2020 when I came in contact with the steemit platform.

During that period, I was fortunate to attend lectures delivered at the steemit crypto academy where a host of professors take us on lectures about cryptocurrency. In one of the lectures, they explain in-depth ways we invest in cryptocurrency and one of the things they listed is to go through the white paper of the project to see how strong the project is and the types of people behind the project.

With this knowledge, I took out time to go through many cryptocurrency white papers but the only one I found more accommodating is the steem project. Steem blockchain has a rule of depth ratio which helps to protect the project. Currently, we have seen that SBD has stop printing because of the low price in the steem currency.

This is so because the value of the project needs to be protected. This is not the same in most cryptocurrencies hence I see this as a backup plan by the steem blockchain to ensure the project doesn't get folded. This is the reason why the steem token happens to be my favourite.

Yes, I'm holding the steem token and the reason why I'm holding it is not far-fetched. Currently, I hold it because I have a strong faith in the project and also it helps me to have more influence on the steemit platform. The higher the steem power I have on the steemit platform the more curation reward I get by voting on the post of other users. So this is the exact reason why I'm currently holding the steem token.

As I have earlier said, with the protection kept around the project, I'm very confident that the future of the project is brighter. The initiative of the club status and the burn steem, as well as the burn SBD, will go a long way in reducing the token in the market and when it is no longer much in the market the price will rise beyond our imaginations.

So in essence I want to say that the future of the coin is such that it will be one of the tops when it comes to ranking in value in the nearest future.

Steem token is my favourite coins. It has a very strong potential and is certain the price of the coin will rise in the future. The initiatives from the steemit blog are helping users hold the currency and that will go a long way in reducing it in the market and thereby raising the price of the asset.
