My favorite teacher

Greetings friends,
I'm delighted to join this contest today which is organized by a friend and a brother @malikusman1. It is a very interesting contest and I wish to share my participation in it as well. Let's get started.

My favorite teacher's name is Mr. Takim. His area of specialization or the subject he taught me was mathematics. I never knew mathematics can be very simple until I met this great man called Takim. He made the subject which many fear so much very cheap and easy.

I never had a good foundation in mathematics and hence I struggled to pass it during my primary school education. I met Takim in my JSS 3 when I was preparing for my junior secondary school exams.

He came up with a very nice strategy that made mathematics became the easiest subject for me. It was because of the way he taught me that made me became the best in the subject and on most occasions, I go out to represent my school in competitions involving mathematics.

The reason why Takim is my favorite is that he has the spirit of teaching. As I said earlier, I never knew I will solve the simplest form of mathematics in this world but learning from the master himself I discovered that mathematics is the cheapest of all subjects.

Loving mathematics is the same as loving the person that teaches the subject. Takim opened my eyes and heart to the secret of solving any kind of problem I come in contact with in this life.

It was through him I knew that every problem has a solution and the solution most times are not far-fetched all you need to do is to look carefully and you will see the answer.

Takim is one of the most easy-going teachers I have seen in my life. Before now, I was not passing mathematics very well because of the teachers who were taking us on the subjects in question.

I was scared of mathematics because the teachers made us scared of it. They instill fear in us and flog us mercilessly if we fail the subject. With that fear alone, you can never do well in the subject.

In the case of Takim, he is very friendly, he doesn't pressure students, and he tries to make the subject look straightforward. With such an approach, students began to love mathematics and that includes me. I'm delighted to have met him because he is the very reason I'm in the position I'm in today.

Dear Mr. Takim, my achievement story will never be complete without mentioning your impact on my life. I have learned a lot from you. You taught me that every problem has a solution and that nothing is too difficult to handle. I appreciate your effort in helping me stand strong.

I wish to reciprocate that good gesture of yours to me someday. I hope and pray for more long life for you so that one day I can be able to do something for you that you have not been able to do for yourself. Remain Bless sir.

Every student in this world has a favorite teacher. Most times we get attracted to our teachers because of the impact they make in our lives. I'm not an exception because today I'm glad to say Mr. Takim help to mold me into what I'm today. I pray that he lives longer so that I too can do something tangible in his life.
