It's another week with another interesting contest organised here by my friend and brother in the person of @malikusman1. It is an educative and a researcherable contest which introduces us to another phase of blockchain different from the usual Steemit blockchain.

I'm glad to be part of this contest today to share my knowledge on the topic because I have also be dealing with the TON blockchain for atleast 2-3 months now. Having an experience or an encounter with the blockchain makes it easy for me to explain it much more better.

What is TON blockchain ?

Before discussing what the TON blockchain is I will firstly want to give us a brief history of the blockchain which is the foundation of the blockchain. TON blockchain started as far back as 2017 and the team that was initially handling the building of this blockchain is the Telegram team i.e those who are telegram developers are the first person to start the TON blockchain project.

At some point the project was later abandoned by this Team and when this happened an individual community picked up the project and continued working on it and they were able to come up with what we have today as a full bodied blockchain which has many projects built on it and many are still building on it.

Because it was first started by the Telegram team, a lot of changes has taken place in telegram recently where we see a lot of mining projects coming up in the blockchain at the moment. Having said that, I will want to discuss briefly what the TON blockchain is all about.

TON blockchain also called open Network is a layer-1 network that is decentralised in nature and it also makes use of the proof of stake (PoS) consensus mechanism to aid scalability in its transaction and also to maintain reliability which helps users to have much trust on the network.

Proof of stake (PoS) consensus mechanism as you may have known is a mechanism that has to do with those with the highest stakers or share holders being part of those making decisions for the network. So that is how the TON blockchain operates.

Future of TON blockchain ?

The major notable futures of the TON blockchain are as follows;

• The blockchain native token is called TON

• The blockchain is decentralised in nature

• The blockchain uses the proof of stake consensus mechanism as it's mode of operation

• The blockchain allows individuals to build their projects on it (open source)

• Telegram projects are mostly built on the TON blockchain

Are you mining any project on TON blockchain?

Yes, I'm currently mining a lot of projects on the TON blockchain using my Telegram. As I have stated earlier, the project was initially being built by the Telegram team but when it was later abandoned a community picked it up but they didn't migrate it from its origin they just continued from where the team stopped.

So because of that, many telegram mining today are built on the TON blockchain. One of the major project at the moment which I'm mining is the Hamster 🐹 Kombat. Aside the NOT coin project this will be one of the major projects to run on the TON blockchain because they have come out with lots of futures which we have not seen from anywhere.

So in this project you don't only make money but you also learn a lot because there are always tutorial video task added almost everyday where the Hamster 🐹 will educate us on a few things.
