Hello guys
I welcome 🤗 you all to my blog today. It's been a while since I shared a post here in this community due to the engagement challenge which took most of my time. I'm delighted that I'm a bit free and can participate in contests in various communities.
Today I want to share my participation in the contest organized here by my friend @malikusman1 which talks about YouTube indeed it is a wonderful contest I would like to share my opinion. Without further ado let's get started.
What is YouTube? |
---|
One of the largest video-sharing platforms in the world today is YouTube. This platform came into existence in the year 2005 in February. It was formerly owned by 3 PayPal employees but currently, it is owned by Google. YouTube is designed to share, upload, like, and comment on videos.
Everyone can create his or her YouTube channel where they can share their videos for others to see, like comment on, or even download as the case may be. YouTube allows for live streaming of videos and also money-making via ads and other means.
Daily, thousands of people go to the YouTube platform because it is one of the best places to see videos related to anything you may even think of. Students and teachers alike always go ahead to learn from the different videos uploaded on YouTube.
As a Steemian, I also have my channel on YouTube because all the videos I upload here on Steemit are videos in my channel as that is one of the major means to get a video and share it here on Steemit. Indeed YouTube is a big application that deals with video sharing.
How can we earn money from YouTube? Share full criteria. |
---|
There are a lot of criteria one must take into account if he or she wishes to earn money from YouTube and below I will share a few of the criteria which I believe are a must-do before your YouTube channel can be monetized.
One of the first criteria is to have at least 1,000 subscribers in your channel. This means that you must ensure that you get people to subscribe to your channel and the least is 1,000.
Another criterion is that in a year, your videos should have at least 4,000 views. This implies that even those who didn't subscribe may need to watch your videos to reach the target number.
In your settings on your channel, you must ensure to enable monetization. This is the only way you can start earning something. This means that you may have passed the two criteria above but if you don't enable monetization on your account you can't make money.
You will also need to read and follow all other guidelines that are placed by YouTube because if your content violates their rules then you may not be allowed to make money.
After passing through all the criteria above, you need to also apply for the YouTube partner program (YPP). This is an important aspect that will allow you to add to those who have already monetized theirs.
Lastly, you must add your payment method from the payment setting option. Here you can add your bank account details or your PayPal details. So money made will be transferred to that account.
You start earning by people viewing and liking your videos, you can also add ads to your videos and earn from that as well.
What is your favorite content creator on YouTube and why? |
---|
I think this question should be who is your favourite content creator on YouTube and why? To answer this, I want to first tell you that the type of content I always look out for on YouTube is content that has to do with cryptocurrency trading hence I don't go for entertainment or any other thing.
Because of my love for trading and my willingness to learn I have always followed the live streaming of a CryptoMonk. He is one of the founders of CoinW exchange. He always holds a live section on YouTube and I follow him to learn more about his strategy and also how to trade effectively.
Also through comments, we are always asking questions about anything we don't understand in the market and we also recommend a pair of assets that we want him to analyze for us. The video below is one of his analyses. You can also follow him and turn off the notification bell to know when he is live on a live section.
