I think Facebook is the cheapest, but because of insecurity and other common fraudulent act some users are into, followers don't click on links anyhow, that's why I chose to use WhatsApp to promote steemit, its messages, and activities are all encrypted which warrant more security and encourage users to chip in more.

HAVE YOU EVER PROMOTED STEEMIT BEFORE OR NOT?

Yes, I've promoted steemit several times, a few days after my introductory post was verified, realizing the benefits and wonders this platform holds, I quickly told some of my friends about it, and also showed them my cryptocurrency wallet for more encouragement.
I also posted it on my WhatsApp status a few weeks back.

ADD A STATUS TO YOUR WHATSAPP OR ANY SOCIAL MEDIA ABOUT STEEMIT

I want to also use my other social media platforms but am not too influential on the other side, if you can check my status, you'll see what I've been doing promoting the platform, a person just messaged me to know more about it after I posted it.
