"Your favorite teacher"

Hello everyone, I am happy to be here to participate in this contest, teachers make the world move through their skills to keep and impact knowledge to learners. The world will have experienced no changes or progress without teachers, to me, teaching is the best profession and all teachers should be highly respected.

Talking about my favorite teacher, I believe I am among the lucky ones to have had a good teacher back then in my secondary school. His name is Mr. John Gregory and back then we usually call him Uncle Gree. He is one of the best and favorite teachers to most of the students back then because he is a very simple and easygoing man, once it is time for learning, he makes sure that he does his best for his student to understand and once it was a time play he will play with us as well.

Uncle Gree was our English teacher and the pattern of his teaching is what kept me going because he will make sure that he simplifies the topic in such a way that everyone will understand. Comprehension was one of the most difficult topics for me back then because I use to be very lazy when it comes to reading novels or stories but since Uncle. Gree came to our school and he made us read different books and his strategy was very simple.

He has a lot of books that he usually gives us to go home and read and once we are in the class we will explain what we understood in the novel if not we won't go for an activity for that day. It was stressful from the beginning but later it became more interesting for me and can read different books without getting bored.

He is my favorite teacher because he knows his way around his student and he always makes sure that his student is in good shape. He acts like a father, teacher, and mentor to everyone and he is a generous man with a good heart.

Uncle Gree is the best and will always remain the best teacher for me because he has a lot of potential when it comes to teaching his student. He is very punctual in all his activities and he never misses a class except he is sick which I have never seen him fall sick.

Uncle Gree is a God-fearing man with a heart of gold, he doesn't joke with his work and he always carries everyone along if it means him spending extra time in class just for his students to understand, he will gladly do it with joy.

He is very intelligent and smart, he knows when to play with his students and when to get them back on track. His words of advice are so alarming. He also encouraged us to make our parents proud by studying hard and also been respectful. Seriously he was just good and he was loved by almost all the students.

Dear Uncle Gree I don't know how to start expressing my gratitude toward what you have Impacted on my life back then when I was still in secondary school, your encouragement is what kept me going. I pray God will bless you and your family abundantly and I wish you more success in all your endeavors.

In conclusion, having a well-experienced teacher is a good foundation to groom any learned to be more independent, I am lucky to have one and I have used the opportunity to learn.
