Beautiful Butterfly
Beautiful Butterfly
Every day it flies from one flower to another to pollinate the flowers that are in bloom. From beautiful small ones to large ones with various patterns and colors, butterflies are natural flying flowers that are very attractive. Butterflies are famous for the beauty of their wings which are transparent and have striking colors.
Butterfly wings are actually formed from layers of chitin, a protein that forms the insect's exoskeleton. You can see thousands of tiny scales that reflect light in different colors on display on the transparent chitin. In fact, as the butterfly ages, its appearance becomes clearer, giving rise to transparent spots which make the chitin layer more exposed.
