Hi, folks!
This is my entry for April Beauty of Nature Contest
Nature is a delightful artist, attentive to detail, using a magical palette of colors. To be honest, at first I wanted to choose autumn photos for the contest. Autumn is the brightest season, the final chord of the triumph of nature before it plunges into winter sleep. But then I thought that it would be unfair, because each season has its own special incomparable play of colors.
April is not so bright yet. Only the first flowers set bright accents on the ground, where grass has not even appeared everywhere yet. The colors of spring are the most tender. They still do not have some fatigue from the summer heat, there is no violent aplomb of autumn, there is no harshness of the dazzling whiteness of winter. Spring colors are gentle tones of resurgent nature, they are gentle and very pure.
All the photos you see here were taken in my garden and in the forest near my house. However, my house is practically in the forest, so it is very difficult to separate one from the other.
In addition, spring is the time of awakening from the winter sleep of our neighbors on the planet. Of course, some of them I'm not too happy to see. For example, ticks and mosquitoes create a lot of problems for me personally. But if they exist, then surely they have some kind of natural function. But the appearance of bees and bumblebees pleases me, because they work, pollinating plants, which means the continuation of life on our beautiful planet.
For the cover photo, I chose a photograph of a young spruce branch. It's really amazing how these trees grow. Young branches are very small and surprisingly tender. They are not prickly at all and sometimes I take a couple of these young shoots to treat my squirrels.
