On New Year's Eve, my wife and I decided to take a walk in the evening Kirov. More precisely, the three of us decided to go for a walk - me, my wife, and our daughter.
Last year, someone in the country's government decided to name Kirov the New Year's capital of Russia. It would seem that a lot of money should come to the city and the city should shine and sparkle with festive decorations. That's what we decided to watch.
Last year, the city celebrated its 650th anniversary. Therefore, one of the old city streets was completely blocked from cars on weekends and it became pedestrian. It hosted performances by artists from all regions of Russia. Of course, before the New Year, it also became the most festive.
This is Spasskaya Street.
Well, this is not Moscow's Nikolskaya Street, but it was not so elegant in previous years either.

Who said that bears walk the streets of Russian cities? My friends from the USA showed videos of bears walking through their streets. I've never seen bears on our streets, but you can meet Grandpa Frost walking through the streets on New Year's Eve.
