Green grasshopper is one type of grasshopper, a group of insects that like to eat leaves wherever they are. This grasshopper often eats green leaves such as grass leaves, flower leaves, rice leaves and other types of soft leaves that are green.

I found this grasshopper on a flower stalk in the flower garden of my office yard. This grasshopper was relaxing on the flower stalk and this back is quite tame because it didn't run away when I took the picture.
