One of the must-try street foods here at Chillva Market is hot roasted chestnuts. These little treats are roasted right in front of you, filling the air with their delicious, nutty aroma. I can never resist buying a bag whenever I see them at a market — they’re simply too good to pass up! The chestnuts are roasted with black gravel stones, which help to evenly distribute the heat and give them that perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft and sweet inside. 😋
One of my favorite stops is the fresh fruit stall. Here, they cut various tropical fruits into bite-sized pieces, mix them with a blend of chili powder, salt, and syrup, then top it all off with dried shrimp for an extra kick. 🍍🍉🍇 It's an explosion of sweet, salty, and spicy flavors—a true taste of Thailand! I couldn’t resist and bought a big bag to share.

I couldn't resist and got two different flavors: Burnt Cheese + Garlic Butter and Classic Margarine. My husband definitely prefers the Burnt Cheese + Garlic Butter, so next time I know what to get—two of those for him! 🧀🧄
