A special feeling - Moment Of The Day Photography Challenge - Week 70

A special feeling.

There are many moments in our lives that are accompanied by what can be described as a special feeling.

Some of this can be forgotten and some you will never forget.

It can be a mixed feeling of joy and delight and some anxiety because you still have a lot to do in the future but the beginning of an important matter has been made.

One such moment is in the first photo of this post.

This is the moment when the first cubic meters of concrete fell from a huge mixer into a trench prepared for it which will become the foundation of the future house.

It was a mesmerizing sight when the concrete slowly filled the space prepared for it.

I realize that the method may be subject to criticism from builders who may ask why there is no wooden formwork for pouring concrete to which I will answer that in this case it is only a concrete pad under the base of the strip foundation which lies on a sand pad and these are only the edges of the basement.

Later there were other memorable moments but...

And here you see that the pad under the load-bearing walls is framed with wooden formwork.
