Last week I am participating #Steemsilvergold community, I hope I could get a feel in making a new collection of Gold and Silver again, after I have lost all of them to cover expenditure of several families during Covid-19 era.
Regarding to collection, I would like to share something about my collection, which is gemstone. Gemstones are just rock, whether it's actual value is not something that valid. It's all depend differently on each person. However you don't have to worry about this, because there are certified appraisal for gemstone.
Ok certified appraisal are people who have undergone training and have massive experience however how about us, the common general people. here's the deal, most of us even do not know how to differ real one with the fake one.
There are many way to analyze whether a gemstone is real or not, you can google and you will find many variable such as hardness, refractive, and many more. Let's be honest here, do you want to scratch gemstone just to know whether they are real or fake / fabricated one?
The most common way is to see the color and clarity. It's a visual test, so our eye sight can scan it. The fake one usually come with perfection. Ok how to determine un-perfection here?
Those are my gemstones and they are fake. I know they are fake because I buy the fake one from the store. This is the most simple way to detect whether it is real or fake, just take a picture using your phone. The fake one is hard to capture, because they are too clear and auto focus or AI gets confuse.
You can see, those two shots can't get a focus on the stone. It's a fake one. Simple method right? However this method is not proven one, because some of the real one with very good quality can not be focused too and some of the fake ones can be focused too. However in general, if you are confused, you can try this method.
Anyway it is autofocus , not manual shot.
