Welcome to my Steemit Food Daily Blog. I update my food blog regularly and as for today, I am sharing you guys what I had earlier today for my lunch. It is called Nasi Bungkus or Wrapped Rice.
Nasi bungkus is actually a mix rice which we mix two to three other dishes into our rice. The rice is wrapped not for presentation because we take out the meal. Every mix rice is wrapped with food wrap but Nasi Bungkus is more specifically addressed to the cheapest mix rice we can get.
My nasi bungkus was very cheap, almost half USD here. We can see some rice with small portion of cut tempeh (fried soy cake), a small portion of fried noddle and half size of omelet. Definitely those all formed a cheap mix rice, and that's what a Nasi Bungkus should be.
