This area always looks great.
Well the famous infamous hack of all time dwarfing many other crypto exchanges and blockchain hacks had happened recently and this really surprised me because the cost of the hack is around 1.5 Billion dollars at the current more or less value of Ethereum tokens. That is why it is really something of a bad news because of the extent of the damage and is somewhat makes me feel not alone about losses because of course like many other crypto enthusiasts, I also had a history of losses but I just regard it as part of the experience because for one thing I cannot revert back what had happened and the other reason is that at least I am still in the "green" so to speak.
Many moons ago this kind of bad news would negatively affect the price of BTC, like plunging many percentages down like what happened during the FTX fiasco, the Luna collapse, and the succeeding crypto company downfall that happened afterwards. Bad news like these still affect the price of BTC especially the Altcoins prices as we can see a few hours before the supposed hack where when BTC is already reaching the 100k price mark, it fell down again together with the Alts and it is just a pain in the patience of many people exposed to cryptos in one way or another because these bad news are setting us back for reaching the true value of BTC for months and adding time that we have to wait for in order for us to reach our own goals or selling price points.
Well of course we invest in cryptos to earn money but we have goals to keep and we will have to sell at some point, those price points goes way further out there if the economy for example would get affected by things that will pin the price down in the case of cryptocurrency values.
What is only making me happy at the moment is that BTC is near $100K and that is something to be cheery about because these levels are still new and also never had been thought of possibly reaching by BTC and yet it is now a reality plus the possibility of doubling if more favorable conditions are met or reached and it is now in the works but we just have to have more patience because after all, Bitcoin's fundamentals never changes, more particularly with its limited supply and with now its ever growing demand.
This kind of fundamentals in my opinion gives the whole of crypto its life and value and that is what is exciting about holding either BTC or buying other altcoins because we can move forward together with BTC's ascent to greater heights if not reaching the moon and back and doing it all over again to ultimately make us financially gain and help us with our ever challenging lives because it is a fact that our lives now are getting harder for the reason that our financial system is broken, the economy will definitely not get okay, the weather will not get back to normalcy, and all odds are against us particularly those that have not much in life, so we are glad that we have Bitcoin and cryptos that have use case like solving human problems like STEEM.
