I decided to measure how many teaspoons of Moringa powder that my 100 pieces capacity capsule maker can make using the "0" size capsules and found-out the results.
This is the 200 grams Moringa powder which I bought a few days ago.
100 "0" size capsules can contain 12 to 14 teaspoons of Moringa powder as I had measured using this medicine measuring cup.
I have to fill these cap holes manually to avoid errors, mistakes, and mess.
It is a whole lot of work in making Moringa capsules and I think that one day I will just have to buy those packaged ones in blister packs which can give me convenience and freedom from the trouble and literal pains of making Moringa capsules like what I did today.
The cost of the 1000 pieces of capsules is 350 Pesos and I used up half of it, then the cost of the Moringa powder is 378 and I used more than half of it. So the total cost of this 500 capsule batch is around the average price of the two. So that in mind with my rough calculations, I will just be saving around 100 pesos if I will do it manually compared if I will buy that particular Moringa product which comes in blister packs and packaged in a box.
Anyway, I was able to use my capsule-making machine again although it is manual it is far more better than making Moringa capsules one by one. It gets hard when I would manually separate the capsule caps and the body and separate them so that they would not be mixed-up. That is why I have to put them in separate containers after separating them from a one single joined capsule.
My right elbow is now in pain because of the back and forth motion in placing the capsule caps and body to their respective trays. I have to do it manually because I do not want to rely on using the method where you will pour the caps or the body of the capsules and let them fall automatically in the holes because the caps or the body doesn't fall down side-up but rather the other way around and it takes too much time in correcting their placement again in their trays one by one. So I have to do the manual route in pacing the caps and the body one by one to also avoid errors and too much in conveniences.
I also measured on how many teaspoons that a whole 100 capsule capacity capsule maker can do with its "0" size capsule holes and I approximated that it can contain around 12-14 teaspoons of Moringa powder packed in the capsules. I used the compactor part of the Capsule machine to make the capsules have more room to house all that mentioned amount of Moringa. So now I will just have to take around 18 capsules of these Moringa powder that I made instead of 24 capsules. I only want to use about 2 teaspoons of Moringa per day, one at breakfast and one at my final meal of the day.
That intake will correspond of about taking 18 capsules in total in a day and I only eat twice a day too. I wanted to be well-nourished despite my limited food intake which is why I am making an effort about consuming Moringa powder because it is packed with nutrients and it shown in my blood work result last Friday as the complete blood count (BCB) test done by my nurses revealed that my blood's hemoglobin levels are still up considering that I halted using EPO for the moment.
My diet was not that good before and only relying on what unvaried vegetable dishes that my parents cooks. But with Moringa as part of my diet, I can have a quality meal even if it is just a small portion of food but is packed with nutrients fiber and because of Moringa powder. So that's it, the work is quite tedious and painful for me but I can say that it is all worth it.
