The Need for Trees

Recently, I had a chance to walk in one of our territories in deaf field service. It's quite rare that we do that again since our friends had their vehicles being used. Before the pandemic, we didn't have the choice but to walk even at the heat of the sun.

Talking about the walk we had recently, we had the umbrella alone to shield us from the extreme heat. It was still morning at that time but it felt like noontime, when the sun was at its peak. In the street, there are few (to none) trees. If there's one, those trees have few branches, and they're not reliable enough to find shelter.

I saw from social media where there are trees being cut by the authorities, and some drivers agreed that it's useful to prevent accidents. Others are in disagreement because trees are very useful.

For me, trees are very useful. It's fine if some branches are cut down especially when typhoon is coming. However, completely cutting them down is saddening. The pictures are captured while on a walk in the park.

Thank you sir for noticing my post. To be honest, I don't know where Steem is heading since the fork of Hive. I'm not aware there's still a way to succeed here because things aren't the same since the forking. I'm still here because I still love Steem.
