Dear STEEM Friends,
News 15th July Report Daily Ittefaq:
The Bangladesh Teachers' Association has announced that all private secondary education institutions will be locked down from Saturday to demand the nationalization of secondary education in our country. At the same time, the ongoing sit-in program in front of the National Press Club will continue until the demands are met.
In the press conference, President of Bangladesh Teachers' Association Bazlur Rahman Miah said that there is a huge disparity between government and private teachers-employees in terms of financial benefits despite having the same syllabus under the same curriculum, the same academic schedule, preparing the question papers and evaluating the answer sheets in the same way. Bangabandhu nationalized about 37,000 primary schools in a war-torn country in 1973. In the same way Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is remembered by the nation for nationalizing about 26 thousand private registered primary schools. In this situation, nationalization of secondary education is the need of the hour to quickly implement National Education Policy-2010, implement UNESCO-ILO recommendations for investment in education and ensure equal opportunities for education for all in the interest of the country and the people.
By doing this, I think there is a possibility that the education of the young students of our country will be damaged. I think the future of the students will be brighter by teachers fulfilling their demands without closing down the educational institutions. This will protect the interests of the country and the nation.
Education is the backbone of the nation, we have already worn books. No country or nation can progress without education. So why should educational institutes be shut down and the demands made by this education. My question as a parent.
I you good luck and good health. Thanks 🙏 everyone @jaster family.
