In our Bangladesh, all levels of educational institutions are opening in accordance with the government's five directives from Sunday. On Thursday (July 6), the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education issued 5-point instructions to prevent dengue, including keeping all educational institutions regularly clean.
In order to prevent the spread of Aedes mosquito, it has been asked to quickly remove the water accumulated in places such as playgrounds and buildings due to heavy rains. Institutional flower tubs should be cleaned regularly and ensure that water does not accumulate. Besides, the present teachers have been asked to inform the students daily about the ways to prevent dengue.
The order has been sent to the heads and field level education officers of all public and private educational institutions. All educational institutions of the country were closed for many days on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha. Educational institutions are opening tomorrow following the instructions mentioned.
