Red jaba is a beautiful and attractive flower. These jaba flowers are of various colors. Jaba flower can be seen everywhere in our Bangladesh. Jaba flower plants are usually planted as decorative plants in the yard or on the roof of the house.

The name of this flower in Bengali is Raktjaba, Jaba Kusum.Joba is propagated by cuttings. This flower blooms almost all year round. The dark green leaves have gaps between them. The height of the tree is about 8 to 16 feet. The leaves are glossy green and the flowers are bright and have five petals.

This jaba flower is rich in medicinal properties. It is used as a herbal remedy for various diseases. Applying japa leaves to remove puffiness of eyes gives good benefits. In case of cold and cough, take jaba flower juice and mix it with water to cure the patient. For hair growth, jujube juice mixed with oil and applied on hair is beneficial. Many more diseases are benefited by this blood-sucking flower.
