I turned to stone in a vast desert, without a drop of water, without a ray of light. The days froze. And the nights too. Life has frozen - a black moon. I turned to stone. Beaten, tossed. Broken off bit by bit, smoothed by hand. Two-humped camels spit on me from above, gray donkeys kick me with their feet. I turned into stone, I remained dust. I was carried away in an instant by the incoming water. I reached for other specks of dust and got up a high, high and strong wall.
