Before 2023, I visited Darajat Pass Garut and here is my story

During the week leading up to 2023 II was really bored with my schedule, so I chose a place that would make me happy and enthusiastic. After Covid cases dramatically decreased in Indonesia, the Indonesian government decided to open some tourist attractions, so many locations have been opened and I had the chance to visit them.

Have you been to Garut? You should be grateful if you've been here. How can? Garut, due to its beauty, has many beautiful nicknames, so this is more than just a story, but the true tale of the city. Do you know, Garut is a district in Indonesia located in West Java. This place is famous for its beautiful mountains and authentic food. Thilly Weissenborn_ once introduced Garut City as "Swiss Van Java City" and the title is well known to this day.

The city of Garut has many scenic views of mountains and forests, beautiful art, as well as a unique culture. Because of its natural beauty, this city continues to develop as a tourist attraction, and the development is growing very fast. There are times when one interesting place has yet to be explored, but another has just appeared. Well, one destination I want to share this time is the Darajat Pass_. A water tourism object in the mountains is located in Karyamekar Village, Pasirwangi District, Garut Regency, West Java Province.

Darajat Pass is a nature tour located at the top of the hills. The theme of nature is in high demand at this time. What attracts travelers to the area is the hot spring tourist facility, which offers complete water rides as well as a breathtaking view from the top of the hills. Based on what I described earlier, I would also recommend making this place a family vacation spot. Children and families will be spoilt when they visit these beautiful spots.

I had the opportunity to visit this place after getting a recommendation from a friend and what he said was true. This place is luxurious, clean, attractive, and fun. I am a lover of water tourism. Of course, I am very happy with this place. From the first time I entered here, I could feel the cleanliness of the place and the excitement of the scenery. The more you explore this area, the more interesting it becomes, and I try not to miss any of them.

To talk about the route here, of course, there is a lot of online information that you can find about this place. I suggest you use the Google Maps application to find the location. Accessible roads and easy transportation will make the trip here more efficient and on time. But on weekends, you have to leave earlier because it is a bit more crowded than on normal weekdays.

Security and comfort have become a must if tourist attractions want to continue to be visited. It is certain that if these two things are missing, the tourist spot will be negatively impacted. There are many officers here who monitor the place, so I believe it has good security. Water play areas are also divided between adults and children. This place is convenient because it has everything you could possibly need. There should be a clean place to stay, a complete culinary experience, and the ability to stay on the premises over the weekend.

I think the entrance ticket is also quite affordable. It costs 35,000 IDR. You can already enjoy some free facilities. However, additional funds will be charged when you are inside for the rental of certain tools and services. The rest is free. I think this is good, especially now they give high health facilitation and surveillance is more tightened now. Well, they provide masks and check body temperature in several spots too.

Due to the large area, the manager is always improving and completing facilities such as bathrooms, toilets, and parking lots. In addition, the place can now accommodate more visitors now that the policy is no longer in place. Oh yes, this place also sells some crafts and some photographers sell services to take your photos.

Is it managed by the private sector? Of course not, Darajat Pass which has a hot spring pool is a source of geothermal energy managed by foreign companies but partnered with domestic companies, so all income here will certainly be a distinct advantage for the country, especially for the local government there.

The photos here should be able to describe how beautiful and exciting this place is, I just did not stay overnight here. But that's enough for me to recommend this place to others. Next time I will come back and try to spend the night here and enjoy the beauty of the mountains at night.
