The 2023 Vishwa Ijtema ended today with Akheri Manojat at Tungi Maidan in Dhaka. This three-day Ijtema is held every year on the banks of Turag River in Tungi and the third day of Ijtema ends with Akhiri Manojat. Lakhs of people attend Akheri Manoja every year.
Tungi's World Ijtema was attended by the largest number of people this year, and all areas around Tungi were filled with people. Many people did not get a place in Tungi Maidan and took their position in the boat, they stayed in the boat for these three days.
This year, foreign guests from around one hundred countries attended the World Ijtema of Tungi, according to a general estimate, around thirty thousand foreign guests attended the Ijtema, each year the place for the Ijtema is determined differently, each district is distributed as a Khita, the street number in the Ijtema Maidan, the Ijtema Entrance gate numbers, and different pole numbers are given in the Ijtema grounds, through which one can find one's district and location accurately.
Today was the last day of Ijtema, the Ijtema program ended with Akhiri Manojat at ten o'clock in the morning, before that the guidance started at seven in the morning, the do's and don'ts for people were discussed in detail in the guidance, and from this Ijtema at home and abroad. Numerous congregations emerged that would call people to Islam.
Today is the last day of Vishwa Ijtema where people come from far and wide and participate in Akheri Manojat. Members of the law and order forces take various steps to ensure that people come from far away on foot to the Ijtema Maidan.
Today in Akheri Manoj every person prays for the welfare of his life, for the welfare of our country and for the welfare of all people around the world. Doa is conducted for about thirty minutes.
Every year a large number of people from the country and abroad come to the Ijtema Maidan on the banks of the Turag River in Tungi, it is the second largest gathering of Ijtema in the world. I feel very fortunate to be present at this Ijtema.
